What is the movie about two young boys who are friends and are sent to trial?

I am not sure if it was a movie or a t.v show, but it seemed to be a
movie. This was a while ago so I can't quite remember. What I recall
is about two very young boys who are friends, one of them is larger in
size then the other (the boy was kind of like Josh Peck when he was
larger and younger), but the other friend manipulates him. They are
both sent on trial after being suspects of killing and raping a woman.
The friend accuses the larger one of committing the crime, when
really, the larger one was innocent. At the end, the larger boy was
wrongfully accused as guilty of the crime. That is as far as I can
remember. If anyone has any ideas of what I am talking about, help me,
I'm just curious to know.
