Levy's job is really a dream that actually works
Marvin J. LevyAfter a lengthy career of focusing on film projects alongside dinosaurs ("Jurassic Park"), aliens ("E.T.: The Additional Terrestrial") and Roman players ("Gladiator"), you may think that nothing much would surprise Marvin J. Levy, marketing honcho at DreamWorks Galleries.However the guy finding the Variety Marketing Award for Lifetime Achievement today states, "I understand so many people nowadays of movement picture marketing who may be candidates with this award. I have been lucky, I have had the chance to operate on a lot of projects because of so many great people, first and foremost Steven Spielberg."Levy's resume is packed with heavyweight jobs: Columbia Pictures v . p . of advertising-publicity-promotion, marketing consultant at Amblin Entertainment after which his current gig at DreamWorks Galleries. They have "Real Steel," "The Adventures of Tintin" and "War Equine" on his plate for that relaxation of 2011."Among the greatest challenges through the years was an upswing from the Internet as well as an explosion of other media for reaching the general public,Inch Levy states.He praises his DreamWorks co-workers, likening the collaborative atmosphere in the studio to being a member of a "large family."Levy can also be active in the USC Shoah Visual History Foundation, the Righteous Persons Foundation and also the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation.
