Joe Lagani Named Chief Revenue Officer At Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, searching to figure out ways to enhance advertising sales in the flagship posting unit, has hired former iVillage ad-sales boss Joe Lagani for that recently produced position of chief revenue officer. He'll be assigned with leading sales across all MSLO’s models — including magazines, the web site and applications, and Radio and tv — in addition to spearhead mix-platform integrations and brand close ties. Lagani’s experience includes stints at Fashion Media so that as Vice president and writer of Conde Nast’s House And Garden younger crowd was writer of Country Home and advertising director at Ladies Home Journal. “(Lagani has) been a significant pressure within the lifestyle space his whole career and it has proven his capability to change performance and lead great teams,” stated MSLO leader and COO Lisa Gersh — herself in the lifestyle media world as co-founding father of Oxygen Media — in announcing the hire today. MSLO reported a decline in publications ad pages in the recent third quarter, which saw its TV and retailing revenue grow.
